The President of Uzbekistan was awarded the Order of the Republic of Serbia.
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić presented Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the country's highest state award.

Within the framework of events in Belgrade, a ceremony was held to award the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with Serbia's highest state honor – the Order of the Republic of Serbia with Grand Chain took place.

For his enormous contribution to strengthening the multifaceted relations between the countries, this order was presented to the leader of Uzbekistan by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed deep gratitude for the high award, noting that he regards it as a symbol of the Serbian people's high respect for Uzbekistan, the strengthening friendship, and a firm commitment to further developing bilateral relations.

The Order of the Republic of Serbia is awarded to prominent figures of foreign states for their enormous contribution to strengthening peace, cooperation, and mutual understanding between peoples, as well as for developing friendly ties with the Republic.
