As part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Korea, the First Lady of the country Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, accompanied by the First Lady of the Republic of Korea Kim Hee-kyung, visited the National Palace Museum of Korea.

 

 

Through the museum's exposition, one can become acquainted with the centuries-long history and rich cultural heritage of the Joseon royal dynasty, which held a special place in Korea's political and cultural life for more than five centuries.

 

 

The First Lady of Uzbekistan was shown ancient manuscripts and poetic works of representatives of the dynasty, traditional costumes, and other exhibits related to palace culture reflecting the lifestyle, traditions, and artistic heritage of that era.

 

 

After becoming acquainted with the museum's exposition, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Kim Hee-kyung held a bilateral meeting.

 

 

During the conversation, which took place in a sincere and friendly spirit, it was emphasized that the peoples of Uzbekistan and Korea are bound by enduring ties based on many years of friendship, mutual respect, and cultural commonality.
