Saida Mirziyoyeva also visited the site where a historical film about the childhood of Abu Ali ibn Sina is being shot.

Saida Mirziyoyeva visited the "Uzbekfilm" film studio and got acquainted with its current state and activities. She emphasized the need to turn the film studio into a national brand and supporting center of the modern Uzbek film industry.

According to her, for this it is necessary to change the management system in the film sphere. The state should not be a customer interfering in the creative process of a film, but a strategic partner developing the sphere and providing financial support.

It is also planned to turn private film studios, independent producers and creators into the main driving force of the industry. It is envisaged to update the process from film production to delivery to the viewer, including financing, distribution, screening, festivals and the export system, based on modern requirements.

Preserving the national film heritage, strengthening the system of restoration and digitization of films, training a new generation of creators, and expanding international exchange of experience were also noted as priority directions.

Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized the importance of forming a professional environment and a culture of self-governance in the sphere, and duly valuing the opinion, experience and professional reputation of filmmakers.

During the visit, she also visited the site where a historical film about the childhood of Abu Ali ibn Sina is being shot. She got acquainted with the large decorations and the working process of the creative team.
