«I am somewhat dissatisfied with the verdict issued»: the court expressed its position on the imposed punishment
Tashkent City Court commented on the 2.4-year sentence given to the defendant responsible for the death of a traffic police inspector.
The father of the late Traffic Police officer Hosilbek Eshnazarov has stated that he is partially dissatisfied with the court verdict issued in the criminal case concerning his son, regarding the court verdict.
Various opinions are also being expressed on social networks that the 2.4-year prison sentence imposed on D. Turgunov is too lenient.
Regarding the discussions, the Tashkent City Court issued a statement. According to the court's press service, in sentencing Turgunov, factors such as his being a school student, his not yet having turned 16 at the time the crime was committed, as well as moral correction, re-education, and the prevention of new crimes were also taken into account.
