Sexual violence in a Namangan kindergarten: criminal case transferred to the prosecutor's office
Control over the investigation is personally established by the Prosecutor General.
A criminal case has been initiated in a state preschool education organization in Uchqo‘rg‘on district of Namangan region regarding the rape of a minor. The Prosecutor General's Office issued an official statement about this.
It was reported that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident under Article 118 (rape) and Article 112 (threat with death or use of force) of the Criminal Code.
Within the framework of the criminal case, a preventive measure of detention has been applied to one person.
Currently, the criminal case has been transferred to the proceedings of the Namangan region prosecutor's office and investigative actions are being carried out. Supervision over the investigation has been personally established by the Prosecutor General.
It was stated by the prosecutor's office that the criminal case will be investigated comprehensively, fully and impartially, and the rights and legitimate interests of the minor victim will be ensured.
It was noted that every identified circumstance related to the crime, concealment of circumstances, or inaction of responsible persons will be given a legal assessment in the manner established by law.
Information about the results of the investigation will be provided in the manner established by law.
