Violence against children: a draft law strengthening liability has been submitted to the Legislative Chamber
The document will be submitted for discussion by deputies on September 29.
On the initiative of the "Adolat" SDP faction, a draft law aimed at improving the system of protecting children from all forms of violence was developed and submitted to the Legislative Chamber.
The draft law envisages introducing relevant amendments and additions to the Criminal, Criminal Procedure Codes, the Code on Administrative Responsibility, and a number of legislative acts aimed at sharply strengthening liability measures for cases of violence against children.
At the meeting of the Council of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, a decision was made to include the draft in the agenda of the next plenary session. The Committee on Democratic Institutions and Civil Society Development has been designated as responsible for its consideration.
The draft law is planned to be considered at the next session of the Legislative Chamber on September 29.
