Admission-2026: additional places allocated for applicants from Karakalpakstan who "failed" the exam

For the 2026/2027 academic year, two additional opportunities were provided for young people permanently residing in Karakalpakstan to enter higher education.

 

According to the relevant statement of the State Commission, young people who scored 68 and above on the entrance exams on October 2–6 and were recommended for admission to full-time education at state higher education institutions on a tuition-contract basis may participate in the competition for 500 targeted admission parameters.

 

For this purpose, applicants permanently residing in the Republic of Karakalpakstan who have graduated from general secondary, specialized secondary, or vocational education institutions shall register on October 2–6 via my.uzbmb.uz. The competition is held based on the higher education institution and field of study to which the applicant was recommended for admission.

 

When recommending for targeted admission, the sequence of applicants' scores earned on the entrance exams shall be used as the basis.

 

In addition, 6,500 additional admission parameters have been allocated for applicants permanently residing in the Republic of Karakalpakstan who scored 56.7 and above on the entrance exams but were not recommended for admission, for bachelor's degree fields at state higher education institutions in the regions.

 

This additional admission shall be carried out on a base tuition-contract basis. The competition is held by relevant bachelor's degree fields of study.

 

The competition records shall be delivered to the relevant higher education institutions by October 10, 2026.
