Airstrikes hit Kharkiv: death toll rises to two
Earlier, it was reported that one person died and nine people were injured.

On October 2, the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv was struck with guided aerial bombs. As a result of the attack, two people died and 17 were injured. Among the victims is a child.
According to Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov, the strikes were carried out on areas with private houses in the Slobidskyi and Nemyshlyanskyi districts of the city. One of the aerial bombs hit a residential building and completely destroyed the house.
Initially, it was reported that one person died and nine were injured as a result of the attack. Later, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that the number of victims had reached 17. Shortly after, another person's body was found under the rubble.
According to local officials, private houses, office buildings, an educational institution, and cars were also damaged as a result of the attack. Rescue and emergency medical services are working at the scene.
