Death of a 4-year-old girl in Kashkadarya: another child in the family was placed under guardianship

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the death of a 4-year-old girl in Kasbi district of Kashkadarya region. In order to ensure the safety of another minor child in the family, the child was placed under the guardianship of a close relative. This was reported by the National Agency for Social Protection. The situation has been placed under special control by the agency.
Currently, in order to stabilize the child's living situation and ensure safety, specialists from the social protection system are assessing the child's living situation and existing risk factors.
Additionally, necessary psychological assistance is being provided to the child, and a medical examination is being organized. Taking into account the change in the child's place of residence, appropriate measures are also being taken to ensure the continuity of education.
Furthermore, a social case has been opened for the child by a social worker, and an individual social services plan is being developed.
It is noted that the agency will regularly monitor the safety and well-being of the child placed under the care of a close relative, as well as the social services provided to the child and the implementation of the individual plan.
