Kyiv and Moscow exchanged strikes: 5 people killed
During the attacks, a ship flying the Liberian flag in Odesa Oblast and the Northern Bridge in Kyiv were also targeted. Ukraine struck the territories occupied by Russia.

At least five people were killed as a result of long-range strikes carried out by Kyiv and Moscow. Al Jazeera reported this.
Russia attacked a ship sailing under the Liberian flag in Ukraine's Odesa region. According to Ukraine's Sea Ports Administration, one person was killed and three were injured as a result of the attack. Another 12 crew members on the ship were safely evacuated.
Russia has recently effectively restricted access to Black Sea ports in Ukraine. Previously, these ports were one of the important sources of global food exports. Strikes on civilian ships carrying grain and steel are causing serious damage to Ukraine's economy.
According to the Russia-appointed governor of Luhansk region, two people were killed as a result of a Ukrainian strike on the Russian-occupied territory.
Russia-appointed officials in Zaporizhzhia region reported that one person was killed and 10 were injured as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack.
Also, Russian media reported that one person was killed as a result of a drone attack in the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine.
Meanwhile, two people were injured as a result of Russia's strike on the Pivnichnyi Bridge in Kyiv. This was Russia's second attack in two days on an important bridge in the Ukrainian capital.
Russia called on diplomats and foreigners to leave Kyiv
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again warned diplomats and foreigners in Ukraine on Saturday. The ministry called on them to leave Kyiv, stating that remaining in the city could pose a danger. Nevertheless, many foreign embassies continue to operate in Kyiv.
Russia's large-scale war against Ukraine has entered its fifth year. So far, there is no indication that the conflict is slowing down.
As Al Jazeera notes, Russia's territorial gains on the battlefield have slowed to a near-record low. Ukraine's counterattacks, including the ongoing operation around the city of Lyman in the country's east, are limiting Russia's advance in other areas.
Russia has intensified attacks on civilian infrastructure in recent months. The use of jet-powered long-range strike drones has also increased. Because they move faster, such drones are harder to shoot down.
Ukraine has also intensified long-range strikes on Russian territory. In particular, oil infrastructure and military-industrial facilities in Russia's interior are being targeted.
