Cotton harvest payments were not made on time: nearly 9 billion was recovered for pickers
The State Labor Inspection conducted monitoring in the regions.

During the cotton harvesting season, funds that had not been paid to pickers on time were recovered and paid out. The State Labor Inspectorate reported this.
On October 2–4, the Inspectorate conducted monitoring in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Kashkadarya, Namangan, Surkhandarya, Fergana, and Khorezm regions.
During the inspections, it was found that labor wages had not been paid to pickers on time, and a total of 8 billion 833 million soums in picking payments were recovered and paid out.
The State Labor Inspectorate continues monitoring during the cotton harvesting season regarding compliance with labor rights, timely payment of wages, and the prevention of forced labor.
