“Such actions must be stopped immediately”: Uzbekistan strongly condemned the attack on Riyadh airport
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the parties not to escalate tensions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan strongly condemned the attack by the Houthis on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. This was announced in an official statement by the ministry.
The ministry expressed condolences to the family members and relatives of those who died and expressed sympathy to the injured, wishing them a speedy recovery.
The statement emphasized that Uzbekistan firmly supports the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security of Saudi Arabia.
It was also noted that attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure facilities constitute a serious violation of international law norms. The ministry called for an end to such attacks, for all parties to exercise restraint, and not to allow further escalation of tensions.
Uzbekistan stated that it advocates resolving disagreements through dialogue and diplomatic means, in accordance with international law norms and the principles of the UN Charter.
In the ministry's statement, Uzbekistan expressed solidarity with the people and government of Saudi Arabia and once again confirmed its commitment to strengthening peace, stability, and security in the region.
