Scandal in the courthouse: a criminal case has been initiated over the incident
Actor Bilol Iskhakov had previously appealed to the President and the head of the Presidential Administration.

A criminal case was initiated under Article 277 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism) regarding the brawl that occurred in the building of the Tashkent city court. Investigative actions are currently underway. This was announced in an official statement by the Tashkent city courts.
Earlier, actor Bilol Iskhakov, through his social media page, had appealed to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva. He stated that his brother was beaten in the court building and requested a legal assessment of the situation and practical assistance for his family.
In the video published by the actor, a person in black clothing is shown striking a man in a white T-shirt several times. According to Iskhakov, during the incident, an internal affairs officer went outside instead of stopping the brawl.
In his appeal, the actor also expressed dissatisfaction with the activities of the Mirzo Ulugbek district internal affairs bodies and the district prosecutor's office. According to him, although there are conclusions of forensic medical and handwriting expert examinations within the case concerning X.Z. and his accomplices, appropriate measures are not being taken. Iskhakov also mentioned that the district prosecutor's office is raising the issue of appointing a third re-examination.
In the official statement of the Tashkent city courts, information was provided about the court proceeding that caused the parties involved in the brawl to come to the court building.
It was noted that the defendant, as well as the victims Sh. I. and Z. I., filed an appeal against the first-instance court verdict concerning F. Z., who was found guilty of fraud and hooliganism crimes.
However, the parties withdrew their appeals. Therefore, by the ruling of the Tashkent city court appellate instance dated September 29, 2026, the proceedings in the appellate instance were terminated.
As for the criminal case initiated regarding the brawl in the court building, investigative actions are ongoing.
