X International "Eurasian Bridge" Film Festival: Rashid Malikov's film won the grand prize
The story about a person's fate received international recognition.
A film by Uzbek director Rashid Malikov was named Best Feature Film at the X international "Eurasian Bridge" Film Festival. The anniversary festival, held in Moscow on October 5-9, featured films from 14 countries.
The film tells the story of a woman who overcomes life's difficulties and seeks new meaning in living. It depicts a person's inner experiences, not losing oneself in the face of trials, and the striving to rebuild one's life.
The world premiere of this film took place in November 2025 at the Cairo International Film Festival. In July 2026, it won the "Best Screenplay" award at the "Eurasia Film Festival" in Sochi.
From international recognition toward new partnerships
Rashid Malikov is currently participating in preparations for the Tashkent Content Market international event, which will be held in Tashkent for the first time on February 4-5, 2027, in cooperation with the Content Center.
Such international platforms provide Uzbek filmmakers with the opportunity to expand contacts with foreign partners, bring their projects to the global market, and establish new creative partnerships.
