President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman of the Board of ACWA Company
The progress of major investment projects involving Saudi Arabia was reviewed.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, within the framework of the first meeting of the Council of Investors in the Fuel and Energy Sector, received a delegation led by Muhammad Abunayyan, Co-Chairman of the Uzbekistan – Saudi Arabia Business Council and Chairman of the Board of "ACWA" company.
During the dialogue, issues of further expanding practical cooperation and accelerating priority joint projects were discussed.
In recent years, the interest of Saudi Arabian companies in our country's market has been steadily growing. As a result, large investment projects are being implemented in "green" energy, modern infrastructure, high technologies, healthcare, and other sectors.
The parties noted their readiness to raise bilateral practical cooperation to a higher level through the timely and quality implementation of the reached agreements.
At the end of the meeting, the Saudi investors once again expressed their gratitude for the favorable investment environment created in Uzbekistan.
