A helicopter crashed in Saudi Arabia: two crew members died
Officials have stated that a technical malfunction caused this, while the Houthis in Yemen claim the helicopter was shot down by a missile.

An AH-6i reconnaissance helicopter crashed in Saudi Arabia's Najran province. Two crew members died as a result of the incident. This was reported by Turki al-Maliki, a representative of the Saudi-led coalition.
According to the statement, the helicopter crashed due to a technical malfunction in an area under the jurisdiction of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of the National Guard.
However, the Houthis in Yemen claimed that the helicopter was shot down by a missile. On Sunday, the group released a video showing an attack on a Saudi Arabian AH-6i helicopter near Najran. Reuters was unable to independently verify the situation in the video. Saudi Arabian officials have not yet commented on the Houthis' claim.
Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree also stated on Saturday that a Saudi Arabian Apache helicopter was shot down near Najran. It is unknown whether this statement relates to the same incident.
Coalition representative Turki al-Maliki, in response to the Houthis' claim, published images of Apache helicopters and emphasized that one of them would soon return to the battlefield.
In recent weeks, attacks by the Iran-allied Houthis in Najran have intensified. Clashes between the Saudi-led coalition and the Houthis are causing the conflict in Yemen to escalate further.
