US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been awarded the "For Great Services" Order for his contribution to developing the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the US and strengthening friendly ties between the peoples of the two countries. This was announced on October 19 by a decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced.

 

The document recognizes Marco Rubio's personal contribution to expanding political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian ties, supporting efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability in Central Asia, and advancing Uzbekistan's international initiatives.
