Local authorities have launched an investigation to determine the causes of the explosion. Officials state that the widespread use of firecrackers and fireworks during the holidays increases safety risks.
It is emphasized that this tragedy is one of the recent major incidents related to industry and pyrotechnics occurring in the country. Previously, an explosion at a fireworks shop in Jiangsu province resulted in 8 deaths and several injuries.
