Uzbek scholars sent a letter of gratitude to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The letter noted the allocation of 750 billion soums to the "Waqf" fund, 300 billion soums through the Social Protection Agency, the systematic organization of Quran recitations in mosques, and the recognition of major educational projects.

The Administration of Muslims of Uzbekistan, members of the Council of Ulamas, and prominent scholars have sent a congratulatory and appreciative letter to the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on the occasion of the month of Ramadan.
The letter particularly highlighted the state leader's efforts in the social protection of the population, the funds allocated for the needy during Ramadan, and the reforms in the religious sphere. Specifically, it was emphasized that the decisions made at the meeting on February 16, dedicated to issues of social protection for the needy population during Ramadan, to allocate 750 billion soums to the "Waqf" charitable public fund and 300 billion soums through the National Social Protection Agency, have been of great assistance to thousands of families.
The ulamas also acknowledged the systematic organization of Khatm al-Qur'an in over 2000 mosques across the country and the implementation of educational projects such as the Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex and the Islamic Civilization Center.
At the end of the letter, prayers were offered for the President's robust health, family happiness, success in his responsible activities, as well as for the peace of the country, the well-being of the people, and the blessings of the month of Ramadan.
The letter was sent on behalf of Mufti Sheikh Nuriddin Kholiknazar, Sheikh Abdulaziz Mansur, Rahmatullo qori Obidov, Hamidjon domla Ismatbekov, Zayniddin domla Eshonqulov, Sheikh Rahmatullah Termiziy, Rahimberdi domla Rakhmonov, Sheikh Alijon qori Haydarov, Ismail Muhammad Sodiq, Muhammadayubxon domla Hamidov, Habibullah qori Abdurazzoqov, and all chief imam-khatibs from all regions.
