In Namangan, it is planned to provide material assistance to more than 67,000 families on the occasion of the month of Ramadan.

 

In accordance with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan, measures have been established to allocate one-time financial assistance with the aim of supporting the needy segments of the population on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Through this initiative, it is intended to further strengthen the atmosphere of compassion and social solidarity in society.

 

According to the decision, the state envisions allocating one-time financial assistance in the amount of 1,000,000 (one million) soums to citizens in need of social protection, including families registered in the social registry, single and elderly citizens, and families raising orphaned children deprived of parental care. Furthermore, material aid of 500,000 (five hundred thousand) soums will be provided to families falling into the category of poor families in the social registry and to families additionally formed based on the conclusion of the neighborhood committee of seven.

 

In particular, in Namangan region, according to preliminary calculations, it is planned to deliver this one-time financial assistance to nearly 67,000 families, for which a total of 45.5 billion soums will be allocated. Payments are scheduled to be transferred by March 1st through citizens' social cards or bank plastic cards.
