During his visit to Surkhandarya region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Secondary School No. 66 located in the "New Uzbekistan" neighborhood of Jarqurgan district. During the visit, the head of state held a dialogue with teachers and students, showing interest in the quality of education, the conditions being created, and the future plans of the youth. This was reported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

 

During the meeting, the President spoke with a talented student, Feruza Jumagulova. During the conversation, the student expressed her dream of studying at Termez State University in the future. On the initiative of the head of state, it was decided that Feruza Jumagulova would be admitted to this higher education institution on a grant basis starting from the 2027–2028 academic year.

 

This decision is a practical expression of the consistent policy of supporting youth, realizing their intellectual potential, and creating broad opportunities for them to receive quality education.

 

The event was attended by Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Ilhom Sirojev, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongiratbay Sharipov, Minister of Preschool and School Education Ezozkhon Karimova, Rector of Termez State University Abduqodir Toshkulov, regional officials, the school staff, and the student's family members.

 

At the end of the event, a certificate confirming Feruza Jumagulova's admission on a grant basis was solemnly presented to her, and she was wished success in her future educational path.

 

Earlier, at Shavkat Mirziyoyev's meeting with youth in Tashkent, a student from Khorezm who sang a song was presented with a car as a gift from the President.
