Moscow also accused Washington and Tel Aviv of a dangerous adventure that is bringing the region to the brink of a humanitarian, economic, and possibly radiological catastrophe. The Russian side expressed concern about the potential damage to the principles of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. It was emphasized that striking nuclear facilities under IAEA safeguards is an unacceptable practice.
