33.4 thousand units of potent drugs were seized in Tashkent and Namangan.
Several individuals involved in illegal drug trafficking were apprehended during rapid operations.

During rapid operational measures conducted in cooperation between the State Security Service and the internal affairs bodies of Uzbekistan, 33.4 thousand units of potent drugs were removed from illegal circulation. This was reported by the SSS to Zamon.uz.
It is reported that during the rapid operation, an individual born in 1996 residing in Zangiata district and his acquaintance from Samarkand born in 1999 were stopped and inspected in the Tashkent area. During the inspection, 8,400 units of "Regapen" potent drugs were identified on them.
Furthermore, during an inspection of a residence in Chilanzar district, which the suspects had been using as a temporary storage facility, 12,600 units of "Regapen", 10,000 units of various drugs from an unidentified manufacturer, 500 containers intended for packaging drugs, and a marking mini-printer device used for printing on counterfeit drug packages were seized as material evidence.
In another rapid operation, in cooperation between the Tashkent city department of the State Security Service and internal affairs and customs bodies, an individual born in 1994 was apprehended while selling 6 units of "Zardeks" potent drugs for 600,000 soums.
The rapid operation was continued, and a citizen residing in Namangan, born in 1987 and previously convicted, who had been supplying these drugs, was also detained in the capital area. From his "Tracker" brand car, 12,400 units of "Zardeks" and 14 units of "Regapen" drugs were formally seized in accordance with procedural order.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated regarding these incidents against the suspects, and investigative actions are being carried out.
