The main gathering point is the city of Serakhs, where diplomatic mission staff receive citizens and ensure safe transportation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched an operation to assist citizens returning from Iran via Turkmenistan. Within the framework of this operation, Uzbekistan's embassy in Ashgabat is coordinating all processes, strengthening cooperation with Turkmen officials and colleagues in Tehran. This was reported by the Dunyo Information Agency.
The evacuation process has been organized in the city of Serakhs on the Turkmenistan-Iran border, where diplomats meet citizens and ensure their safe transfer to Uzbekistan. Embassy vehicles and staff have already been mobilized.

Diplomats are coordinating the border crossing process to ensure transit is carried out as quickly and safely as possible.
Earlier, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov to ensure the safe return to the homeland of Uzbek citizens residing in the Persian Gulf states.
