Methane refueling operations in Uzbekistan have been temporarily suspended.

Public transport and service facilities continue to receive gas supply without restrictions.

Methane refueling operations in Uzbekistan have been temporarily suspended.

According to the Ministry of Energy, the demand for natural gas has increased due to the influx of cold and humid air masses into the Republic's territories. Consequently, a decrease in pressure is being observed in the main gas pipelines.

The energy system has prioritized the uninterrupted gas supply to households and social sector facilities as a primary task. In this regard, a temporary restriction on the operation of "methane filling stations" across the Republic will be imposed from March 4 at 19:00 until March 5 at 10:00.

This measure is aimed at ensuring a stable gas supply for the population and social sector facilities. At the same time, gas supply to social sector facilities and public transport vehicles will continue without restrictions.
