More than 500 Dohada residents are living in temporary hotels in Uzbekistan.
The Embassy is providing them with necessary practical assistance.

Due to the unstable situation in the Middle East region, over 500 citizens of Uzbekistan are temporarily residing in hotels in Doha, the capital of Qatar. This was reported by the "Dunyo" news agency.
It is reported that the staff of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Doha are regularly receiving updates from their compatriots and providing them with necessary practical assistance.
In particular, on March 3, staff of the diplomatic mission visited the "La Villa" and "OYYO Hotel" hotels, met with citizens temporarily residing there, and compiled a list based on their personal information.
Furthermore, representatives of the embassy and the "Vatandosh" public foundation organized an iftar for some needy citizens staying in the hotels.
Compatriots in need of medical assistance were taken to Hamad Hospital.
Additionally, the embassy assisted in formalizing the necessary documents for the burial of an Uzbek citizen who died as a result of a road traffic accident in Doha. In cooperation with the competent authorities of Qatar, a funeral ceremony was organized.
Currently, Qatar's airspace remains closed.
