The President of Uzbekistan expressed gratitude to Omon Sultoni over the phone for the conditions being created for citizens in the country.

On March 4, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.

 

During the conversation, the current complex situation in the Middle East was discussed, and it was noted that the emerging instability is causing serious concern.

 

The President of Uzbekistan expressed concern over such actions taking place in the Omani region and emphasized that Uzbekistan firmly supports resolving any confrontation and conflict through political-diplomatic and peaceful means, via negotiations.

 

The head of our state particularly acknowledged the Sultanate's active mediating role and consistent efforts in ensuring security in the region.

 

He also expressed deep gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan for the conditions being created to ensure the safety of Uzbek citizens in Oman and for their return to their Homeland.

 

In turn, the Sultan of Oman thanked the leader of Uzbekistan for the feelings of solidarity and unity and expressed confidence that the upcoming high-level historic visit to Muscat will be held at the highest level.
