The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan provided information regarding the situation in the Middle East.

According to the report from the ministry's press service, no deaths or injuries among Uzbek citizens have been recorded to date. It was emphasized that the situation is under constant control.

It is noted that, based on the instruction of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, systematic measures are being implemented to ensure the return of compatriots in Middle Eastern countries to their Homeland.

Taking into account changes in the situation and the priority of ensuring citizen safety, regular and additional flights are being organized. It was stated that work in this direction is being carried out consistently.

In particular, systematic evacuation of citizens from the territory of Saudi Arabia is underway. Furthermore, a repatriation flight by Uzbekistan Airways from Abu Dhabi is planned.

Additionally, the matter of organizing charter flights is being coordinated with airlines and aviation regulators of regional states.

The ministry noted that opportunities are limited due to the closure of airspace in some areas and the introduction of an "air attack" alert regime, but nevertheless informed that work to ensure citizen safety and their return to the Homeland continues around the clock.
