A meeting dedicated to International Women Judges Day was held in Tashkent.
Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized that for the first time in the country's history, the Association of Women Judges of Uzbekistan has been established.

A ceremonial event dedicated to International Women Judges Day was held in Tashkent on March 10. During the event, Saida Mirziyoyeva announced the establishment of the Women Judges Association of Uzbekistan for the first time in the country.
Mirziyoyeva congratulated the event participants on this important occasion and emphasized that this value is a significant step in developing the judicial system. She also reminded that the President has signed a decree on additional measures to protect women and children from violence and persecution. This document envisages combating individuals who attempt to justify crimes with "tradition," status, or authority.
Mirziyoyeva noted the important role of judges in this work and also emphasized the need to strengthen the accountability and effectiveness of courts, law enforcement, and preliminary investigation bodies. Every case of violence must receive appropriate legal assessment.
During the event, state awards were presented to women judges. Mirziyoyeva stressed that these awards are a sign of respect for those who administer justice honestly and conscientiously.
