A person who distributed child pornography via Telegram in Namangan has been arrested.
They demanded 8-10 thousand soums from group members and distributed illegal content to 120 users.
During rapid measures conducted by law enforcement agencies in Namangan, an individual distributing pornographic materials involving minors via the Telegram messenger was apprehended. This was reported by the press service of the regional internal affairs bodies.
It was reported that a citizen residing in Namangan district organized a special group on the messenger application, where he was engaged in displaying and distributing pornographic materials involving minors.
It was established that the suspect demanded a transfer of 8,000 to 10,000 soums to a bank card from each group member. According to preliminary information, he distributed these illegal materials to a total of 120 users.
Regarding this case, a criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Part 3 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (production, import, distribution, advertising, or display of pornographic products).
Currently, investigative actions are being carried out regarding this case.
