Nearly 50 military aircraft participated in the operation.

The Israeli Air Force struck an underground military command facility located in the center of the Iranian capital, Tehran. This was reported by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) press service.
According to the IDF statement, nearly 50 military aircraft participated in the operation, dropping over a hundred munitions on the target. As a result of the attack, the underground command bunker located beneath a complex of government buildings was destroyed.
According to Israeli military intelligence, this bunker was located beneath several streets in central Tehran and had multiple access points to the surface. The facility had been used as one of the important military command centers for the Iranian leadership.
The IDF emphasized that the bunker was specifically built for Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. However, according to Israeli information, the Ayatollah was killed before he could use this shelter.
