The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it carried out airstrikes on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force command center located in Tehran. The IDF press secretary reported this on his social media page.

 

According to the IDF statement, the strikes were carried out as part of a large-scale operation against Iranian military targets in Tehran. Specifically, the IRGC Aerospace Force headquarters was of significant importance as a center for air situation assessment and the defense of Iranian airspace.

 

Furthermore, the Israeli Air Force also struck air defense systems, command posts, and logistics depots in the region. All strikes were carried out in areas where IRGC bases are located.

 

The IDF emphasized that this operation was carried out with the aim of degrading Iranian military targets and maintaining control of the airspace.
