A road traffic accident involving a minor driver occurred in Samarkand region. The regional Department of Internal Affairs reported this.
It is noted that on March 22, at approximately 11:55 AM, in the "Chor Chinor" neighborhood of Urgut district, a Gentra model car hit a 5-year-old girl.
The driver who caused the accident fled the scene, leaving the victim in a critical condition.
As a result of urgent measures, the offender was identified. It was revealed that he is an 11th-grade student at one of the local schools and was driving the vehicle without the proper documents.
Regarding this incident, an administrative report has been formalized against the driver, and the case materials have been sent to court. The car has been placed in an impound lot.
The 5-year-old girl injured as a result of the accident has been hospitalized.
