A video has circulated showing a citizen in Tashkent city, who caused a road traffic accident while driving under the influence, raising his hand against an IIO officer. Regarding the incident, the Tashkent City IIBB provided information.

 

It is reported that on March 30, at night, a collision involving Malibu and Leapmotor brand cars occurred in the Yashnobod district. After the incident, the Leapmotor driver contacted number 102 and reported that the Malibu driver had caused the accident and behaved rudely.

 

The DIA officers who arrived at the scene attempted to administer a breathalyzer test to the Malibu driver. However, the driver refused to comply with the lawful demands, actively resisted the officers, and punched one of them in the face twice.

 

Subsequently, the officers used special means to neutralize him in order to ensure their own safety and the safety of those around them.

 

The offender is currently detained in accordance with procedural rules. A criminal case has been initiated against him under Part 2 of Article 219 and subparagraph "g" of Part 3 of Article 277 of the Criminal Code.
