In Tashkent, a minor girl was tortured by her stepmother.

A video appeal has circulated on social media about a minor girl being tortured by her stepmother. Regarding this incident, the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs has provided an official statement.
It is reported that N.Sh., born in 1985, physically abused her stepchild N.G., born in 2013, by beating her several times at their residence located in the Yunusabad district. The victim initially did not report this incident to the police.
Currently, the minor victim has been placed in the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs' Center for Social and Legal Assistance to Minors and is under the protection of state authorities.
Regarding this incident, the Investigation Department under the Yunusabad District Police Department has initiated a criminal case against the suspect N.Sh. under Article 110 ("Torture") of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
