Students involved in drug trafficking in Tashkent have been arrested.
As a result of the inspections, the distribution of more than 1 kilogram of various types of narcotic substances has been prevented.

A group of individuals involved in drug trafficking, including students, were detained in Tashkent city. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
It is reported that the illegal distribution of a total of 1 kilogram 604 grams of various types of narcotics was prevented in the Mirabad and Mirzo Ulugbek districts.
In particular, a male student born in 2004 was caught in the Mirabad district while placing marijuana wrapped with insulating tape using the "zakladka" (dead drop) method. It was established that he had been distributing large quantities of narcotics for three months based on instructions from an illegal "narkodo'kon" (drug store) on Telegram.
From the rented apartment where the young man lived, 698 grams of alpha-PVP, 471 grams of mephedrone, 433 grams of marijuana, as well as electronic scales, 600 zip-lock bags, insulating tape, and unknown liquids were found and documented as material evidence.
Furthermore, during an operation in the Yakkasaroy district, an administrator of a "narkoshop" (drug shop) born in 2001 and his accomplice born in 1998 were apprehended. It was found that they possessed alpha-PVP, tropicamide, and equipment used for consuming narcotics.
In the Kibray district, tropicamide medications were found in the apartment where a girl born in 2005 lives. Additionally, from the home of a previously convicted internet drug store operator, 80 grams of alpha-PVP, mephedrone, liquid alpha-PVP, pregabalin, an electronic scale, zip-lock bags, and magnets were found and documented as evidence.
During rapid surveillance, it was recorded that two students born in 2004 and 2006, who were leaving this apartment, had 30 portions of alpha-PVP substance prepared for distribution.
Regarding this case, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 5 of Article 273 and Part 2 of Article 251-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
