In the Qo'shtepa district of the Fergana region, a case of an attempt to illegally sell land by the head of a farm has been identified. This was reported to Zamon.uz by the SSS.
It is reported that the head of the farm engaged in agriculture convinced a buyer that the 3.7 hectares of land under the farm's management were supposedly 7 hectares, promising to formalize it in the buyer's name. In exchange, he demanded $20,000 and 100 million soums.
During an urgent operation conducted by officers of the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, the farmer was apprehended while receiving $15,000 of the agreed sum through a third party.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and investigative actions are currently underway.
