A 4-year-old child who went missing in a mountainous area of Ohangaron district, Tashkent region, was found safe and sound by rescuers. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this.

 

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the incident occurred on April 13. A family of six had gone to the mountains for recreation. During their walk, around 5:00 PM, they ascended to see the snow on the mountain peak.

 

It is reported that during this process, the adults forgot the child on the mountain and descended. The child's absence was discovered nearly 40 minutes later.

 

After that, the child's relatives immediately contacted the duty unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Search and rescue groups from the Tashkent Regional Department of Emergency Situations and personnel from the "Kamchik" Special Rescue Department were involved in the search operations.

 

The search and rescue operation lasted more than 6.5 hours. As a result, the child was found by rescuers from the Almalyk special search and rescue detachment at 00:20 on April 14.

 

According to the rescuers, the child was found approximately 3 kilometers from the spot where his parents had left him. At the time of discovery, he was standing still in snow up to his knees.

 

The child underwent a medical examination and was handed over to his relatives. It was reported that his condition is currently good.
