A cadastral employee was caught taking a bribe in Kashkadarya.
The employee wanted to cancel and refund the fine imposed on the citizen for the land area.

Cases related to illegal sale of land plots in Kashkadarya have been exposed. The SSS reported on this.
It is reported that during an operation conducted jointly by the regional department of the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, the lead inspector of the Cadastre Agency branch in Karshi district was caught red-handed with material evidence. He was apprehended while accepting $2,000 USD in exchange for canceling an 82 million soum fine applied for a 12 sotix land plot illegally seized by a citizen and for formalizing cadastral documents, through his official acquaintances.
A similar case was also recorded in Shahrisabz district. There, a 59-year-old individual previously convicted for fraud and an employee of the district branch of the State Cadastre Chamber conspired and demanded $7,000 USD to formalize a 9 sotix land plot belonging to a local farm in the name of another person. They were caught after having already received $4,000 in advance.
Criminal cases have been initiated regarding both incidents, and investigative actions are currently underway.
