A meeting was held in Samarkand with the Secretary-General of the International Narcotics Control Board.
During the meeting, practical issues related to the Committee's upcoming mission to Uzbekistan were also discussed.
Saida Mirziyoyeva met with Stefano Berterame, the Executive Secretary of the International Narcotics Control Board, in Samarkand on April 20.
It was reported that important and serious issues were discussed during the meeting.
"We are consistently improving the national system for controlling drug trafficking, and in this regard, the conclusions of international experts are of great importance to us," said Saida Mirziyoyeva.
Furthermore, special attention was paid during the conversation to topics such as developing the analytical and laboratory base, introducing digital control tools, and training specialists in the field.
During the meeting, practical issues related to the upcoming visit of the Committee's mission to Uzbekistan were also reviewed.
