The master plan of the ancient center, as well as issues of restoring monuments and turning them into museums, were discussed.
Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva yesterday, April 27, inspected the main sites in Khiva's Ichan-Kala — the "Toshhovli" Palace, Muhammad Amin Inoq and Muhammad Amin Khan madrasas, the Juma Mosque, and the "Kuhna Ark" complex.
It was reported that the master plan of the ancient center, as well as issues of restoring the monuments and turning them into museums, were discussed.
Additionally, it was decided to develop a program for the protection of cultural heritage in the Khorezm region, with the aim of preserving common historical roots and unique national identity.
