A platform that pays for 10,000 steps has been launched — Eco Committee

According to the Committee, the platform began its activities on May 1 and can be downloaded via the App Store and Play Market.

The project is being implemented based on the president's decision to accelerate environmental education, science, and promotion within the framework of the nationwide "Eco-culture" project. The document stipulates the restoration of the "10,000 Steps on Foot" initiative and the establishment of the "Healthy Lifestyle" platform.

According to the Ecology Committee, work on developing a procedure for incentivizing citizens, including monetary payments, within the framework of the "10,000 Steps on Foot" campaign is ongoing step by step.

Earlier, it was reported that the "10,000 Steps on Foot" initiative in Uzbekistan would be relaunched from May 1.

Additionally, it has been established that 10 billion soums will be allocated annually from the Special Fund for the operation of the "1hls.uz" platform.

For reference, the "Healthy Lifestyle" — "1hls.uz" platform was launched on June 1, 2021, with the aim of popularizing daily walking and running among the population.
