Helicopter-assisted search operations have been launched to apprehend the suspect. He is reported to be 17 years old.

In Turkey's Mersin province, 4 people were killed and 8 others were injured as a result of an armed attack. The "Haberler" publication reported this.
It was reported that the incident occurred in the Kadelli Dyortler neighborhood of the Tarsus district. The suspect, M.O., broke into one of the local eateries and started firing a rifle. As a result, the establishment's owner, Sabri Pan, died in the hospital, while employee Ahmet Erjan Jan was killed at the scene.
"In the Tarsus district of Mersin, 17-year-old M.O. opened fire with an automatic weapon at a restaurant, resulting in the deaths of restaurant owner Sabri Pan and employee Ahmet Erjan Jan," the report states.
After the attack, the suspect, who fled in a car, killed two more people along the way.
It is also reported that the suspect injured 8 other people. The injured were taken to the district state hospital and placed under observation.
Police and emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Currently, security measures have been intensified in the area, and search operations are being conducted using helicopters to apprehend the suspect.
According to preliminary information, the number of victims and injured may increase. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
