President of Uzbekistan expresses condolences to the Chairman of China.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a message of condolence to the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, regarding the numerous casualties and injuries resulting from an explosion at a coal mine in China's Shanxi Province.

 

According to the Presidential Press Service, the head of state expressed patience to the families and loved ones of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

 

As a result of a gas explosion at the "Lushenyu" coal mine located in Qingyuan County of the province, 90 people died.

 

The incident occurred on May 22 at 19:29 local time. At the time of the explosion, there were a total of 247 workers in the mine area.
