A mudslide washed away a village in Surkhandarya.
Assistance efforts have begun for those affected by the flood disaster.

On May 24, a powerful mudslide that hit the Uzun district of Surxondaryo region washed away the village.
It was reported that on the same day, the district administration began providing assistance to those affected by the mudslide and flood that occurred in the Arg'amchi village and O'rmonchi village.
"We will help everyone. As the district governor, I have not upset anyone. I have not left a single person on the street. We will provide assistance. Thank God, our esteemed president has provided the funds, there is money, everything is in order," said the district governor.
On May 23, heavy rain observed in several areas of Samarkand region also led to water accumulation and flooding on some streets.
To assess the situation on the ground, the regional governor Adiz Boboyev, together with representatives of relevant organizations, visited Chuquryo'l Street in Samarkand city and gave instructions to those responsible to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
