The senator sent a senator's request regarding youth employment and social protection.
The senator requested information from the Youth Affairs Agency regarding the causes of unemployment among minors, proposals for eliminating them, and the work being carried out to improve interagency cooperation.

Senator Malika Qodirkhanova, who works on a permanent basis in the Senate Committee on Youth, Women, Culture and Sports, submitted a senator's inquiry to the Director of the Youth Affairs Agency on issues of youth employment and social protection.
It was reported that the inquiry focuses on strengthening the legal and social protection of socially vulnerable minors, training them in professions, and ensuring their employment.
The senator's inquiry states that, as of April 2026, 14,638 adolescents aged 16–17 were returned to their families from social and legal assistance centers for minors under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, of which 2,671 did not have an ID card.
It was noted that the majority of young people returned to their families are children from socially vulnerable families with difficult living conditions. It was emphasized that due to limited financial resources, some minors are unable to obtain an ID card in a timely manner.
According to the senator, this situation is causing a number of problems in training young people in professions, ensuring their employment, and involving them in social programs.
The inquiry also reminded that, in accordance with current legislation, the tasks of the Youth Affairs Agency to support socially vulnerable youth, train them in professions, guide them towards entrepreneurship, and ensure their employment are defined.
In this regard, the agency was requested to provide information on planned measures to support socially vulnerable minors, assist in training and employing youth who do not have an ID card, and provide targeted support to them.
Additionally, it was requested to provide substantiated information on studying the causes of unemployment among minors, developed proposals for their elimination, and ongoing work to improve cooperation mechanisms between responsible agencies.
