A person who attempted to steal cattle using a Gentra car in the Bukhara region has been detained. The incident was identified during a preventive measure conducted in the Bukhara district, as reported by the information service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to reports, around 01:30 AM on May 20, a black Gentra moving along the Bukhara—Qiziltepa highway aroused suspicion among internal affairs officers. Preventive inspectors attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver did not comply with the legal demand and continued driving.
As a result of prompt measures, the car was stopped and inspected. It was found that the rear seats of the car had been removed, and a large horned cattle was being transported in the cabin area.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the cattle was being secretly stolen from the field area of one of the farms in the "Ko'chko'mar" neighborhood of the Bukhara district. According to preliminary estimates, the value of the ox is approximately 10 million soums.
The suspect was identified as a citizen living in the Qiziltepa district of the Navoi region, who had previously been convicted for theft.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 169, Part 3, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are currently underway.
