Individuals who illegally sold weapons in Tashkent have been detained.
In the Sergeli district, a pneumatic weapon that was stored without a permit and sold several times was identified. As a result of the situation, administrative measures were taken against four citizens.

In the Sergeli district of Tashkent city, citizens involved in the illegal storage and sale of pneumatic weapons were identified. This was reported by the information service of the capital's Main Internal Affairs Directorate (MIAD) announced.
It is noted that during an operational event conducted by employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Sergeli District Internal Affairs Directorate, it was discovered that a pneumatic weapon was being stored in the home of one of the citizens.
As a result of the investigations, it became known that this weapon had been sold several times among four citizens without the relevant documents. The weapon was found during a search at the last buyer's home and was officially seized in accordance with procedural procedures.
According to the MIAD, under Article 6 of the Law "On Weapons," pneumatic weapons are classified as civilian weapons, and a relevant permit is required for their storage. The identified citizens had purchased and stored the weapon without any permit.
Regarding the situation, administrative measures were taken against the offenders under Article 220-1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
It was also reminded that, in accordance with the legislation, individuals who voluntarily surrender pneumatic, signaling, bladed cold, throwing, and self-defense weapons are exempt from administrative liability.
