Admission to higher education institutions for technical school graduates has started from the 2nd year based on an interview.
The admission process is conducted online. It is not required to submit the original diploma when submitting documents.

Starting July 5, the acceptance of applications has begun for admitting graduates who have successfully completed technical schools to the 2nd year of bachelor's degree programs at higher education institutions based on an interview. This was reported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation in a statement.
Applications will be accepted online until July 25 (inclusive) via the my.edu.uz platform. When registering, applicants are not required to submit the original diploma. It is sufficient to enter only identity-confirming information, while the remaining necessary data will be automatically generated by the information system.
This procedure applies to graduates who have successfully completed technical schools. This category includes graduates whose grades at the end of academic semesters are mainly 4 and 5, and at least 50% of their grades (at least 85% in medical fields) are "5".
Based on the interview results, applicants whose average score set by the commission of the higher education institution is 67 points or higher are considered to have passed the interview and are recommended for admission to the 2nd year on a tuition-fee contract basis.
This procedure does not apply to higher military and higher paramilitary educational institutions, Tashkent State University of Law, as well as foreign and non-state higher education organizations operating in Uzbekistan and their branches.
