A worker died after being trapped under a concrete slab at a construction site in Tashkent.

A 25-year-old worker died as a result of an accident at one of the construction sites located in the Yashnobod district of Tashkent city. The "Millar" program reported this.

 

It is reported that the incident occurred at a construction site in the Olmos neighborhood. According to preliminary information, a concrete slab fell on a 25-year-old young man born in the Surkhandarya region.

 

According to witnesses, the incident happened during work. The Emergency Situations Service was notified about the incident. Rescuers and an ambulance team arrived at the scene. The victim was extracted using a crane.

 

According to Sanjar Qodirov, head of the Yashnobod district ambulance department, the team arrived promptly on July 3rd following a call received from the construction site. However, it was determined that the man had died at the scene from severe bodily injuries.

 

An investigation into the incident is currently underway. The area of the construction site has been cordoned off.
